Bad moment for Homo Sapiens.

Who would think
standing in any one particular spot
on the earth-plane grid
would make so much difference
be so significant
one way or the other?

Nah! I am in-body. Not any-body!
I talk my walk.
I hold my tail steady.
My antennae are tuned in.

For sure, I felt nothing, sister!
No holy qualms or buzzing in my ears!
No cosmic revelations, no visions.
Just there, one minute
and then, not there.

What is the difference?

I drive down the road, blinded by tears.
A liability.
I don’t even know where I am going or why;
not even the faintest intimation
of a Cause or Purpose.

A bad moment for homo sapiens.

Something about
the ongoing momentum of being incarnate
(they said)
its incontrovertibility:
- the cruelty of its laws-in-time
- its chameleon face.

Nah!
For all that I have various clues
around starter mechanisms, potent moments, impregnation
at the end of the day
it is a bad moment for homo sapiens.
