How many grains of activated yeast are needed to leaven a loaf
O bakers of bread, children of bakers, eaters of loaves?
Besides, stokers of ovens,
carriers of water,
pluckers of grain, tillers of soil, fermenters of molasses,
iron-smiths, potters,
match-makers, wood-turners,
expanding to and touching every craft and trade: money dealers,
house and home-makers, artisans,
seamstresses, shoemakers,
drain cleaners, refuse collectors, roof builders,
husbandry in fisheries, forestry, agri and horticulture,
peace-keepers, road-menders,
midwives, nurses, grave-diggers
lawmakers, dentists, priests, healers
to the peripheries of allsorts of travel
-discovery, research, exploration. The external skin of the social conglomerate
that surrounds every individual one
- each fractal cell, self, unit -
validating each other and the Whole
all for and from one loaf.
