Am I worthy, is it worth it?

Market prices are only an average

and estimate:

allowing one to eat, sleep as well as vote

, pay taxes, survive, comply best and know who's who

in the status-list of nepotistic influence.

Does it matter? Who cares

as tomorrow may never come!

  asteroids or a virus might strike,

Economies crash or Christ arrive…

 

It is the mint carat gold inside

straight from the Creator’s sling

snuck in the pit of every pulse:

found in pure lumps in the desert

or sieved from running streams 

from consummate solar radiance, gilding our tiny globe 

with incorruptible elixirs

 

It means mindful right measure.

No truck with hoarding

nor equating the given with personal fortune -

or that Mother Earth and her elements are for sale:

her air, minerals, waters and fruit

as resources to appropriate.
