ATTACHMENTS
Simply, the association with material objects
re moments, people and personal responsibilities.
Things we use, that serve a purpose
or contain memory.
For example,
my ancestral Ormalu clock -
with each strike it reminds,
relives parents rewinding it each Sunday
- the echo of that living room, bedtime moment:
my many shelves of books
reflect and represent all those erstwhile learning curves,
beloved precursors to wisdom - the images on my walls
evoke their living counterparts - those energies, frequencies
and unfolding destinies
to be respected, loved and honoured.
Although these are ethereal and mental constructs
or subjective projections;
yet physical reality is really no joke
but a sacred wherebyfor.
All that is earthly, made with or by its elements is precious,
whilst via our human hands and minds
might be - pending our intent.
Be-longing is the moot issue!
None of us own a thing,
All are transient.
(Security is our paranoia…)
We are stewards only.
