LOOKING in UNLIKELY PLACES

In systems, books, gurus, podcasts, 

Orthodox and Alternative,

 old along with new.

Some internal safety valve

predisposes favoured topics

however biased or reacting to conditions.

But a gyroscope of innate preference

gradually, over the years is

consolidating, filtering and refining the scope

to subtler themes.

A wild and wiser way to grow

than clutching at random straws

or following a deathly societal  track 

of personal, fear-based survival.

The last and least  place to look

 is inside: the unholy flesh,

where least expected 

(until/unless decrepitude  ensues - or dis-ease…)

The sacred heart.
